Not much sewing done

Tuesday, September 4, 2018

I didn’t get much sewing done at the bee today. I loaded three more Farmer’s Daughter packages into my bag (as per my get-three-a-week-done plan) even though I still had two blocks to finish from last week’s batch. But I thought I should start my day going through the books and my listing of those books prior to the meeting on Thursday. I was only going to do one shelf but the first shelf went so well I went through the whole library, with the exception of the CDs and DVDs. So it was almost lunch time before I even started any stitching.

The library notified me that they had a book waiting for me to pick up. Although they told me the name of the book I had no memory of ordering it or even what it was about. When I looked it up it is one that still sounds like it will be a good read; I picked it up today (when I returned a book) but there are two library books ahead of it. I’m going to have to find some time over the next couple of weeks to read more than my normal half-hour before bed or I’ll be paying fines.

I’ll be busy for the next couple of days getting ready for a Cranberry Hall meeting (tomorrow) and the first Guild meeting of the season on Thursday. I have a showing at the Hall tomorrow afternoon and I have more than a dozen posters to get up on bulletin boards and windows around town – another project for tomorrow.
