I’ve decided

After looking at my quilted jacket for a week I’ve decided to go with the reverse side as my primary fabric. Even though the jacket is reversible, I felt I should take it apart and reverse the seams. The seams on the outside now look like “regular” seams; the seams on the inside are covered with binding. I have the fanciest (brightest?) lining you can imagine!

I think there is a chance I will wear the jacket in this configuration, and it didn’t take too much work to change my mind at this point. Had I known it would end up like this I would have done the quilting differently, but it is okay. I know I’ll be teased at the bee on Tuesday, but it is all in good fun and I can handle it.

I think all my homework for the next class is done. I’ve made the pockets, cut the binding and, hopefully, I still have enough of the right material for the cuffs. I will be glad to see the end of this project – I expect the teacher feels the same way.

I’ve uploaded another chapter in the Flat Stanley series, and I’ve reposted my reviews of a couple of books that Kathryn asked me about.

I’m off now to find a recipe for the BOND lunch tomorrow.
