Avon calling

It was a great moment this morning when I realized I didn’t have to go anywhere today!

While I headed up to my studio right after breakfast, Pat headed out for some batteries for one of his gadgets. When he came home with the batteries, he also brought home a doorbell. We’ve been talking about getting one because if Pat isn’t home, and I’m in my studio, I don’t hear anyone knocking at the front door. And if Pat is in his studio, and I’m not home, he doesn’t hear anyone knocking at the back door. Now, no matter which door you come to, when you press the bell we hear beautiful Westminster chimes.

I spent most of the day working on March birthday cards. The first one went very quickly, but the second one took much longer. Of course I was playing a bit and having fun and the afternoon was almost done by the time I finished. No Craftsy block of the month and no Farmer’s Wife block done today – maybe next week.

I thought I would get an early start on my evening craft (my Easter project) but by the time I uploaded Chapter 2 of Flat Stanley and wrote a book review I’m not very much ahead of the game. I’m beginning to worry about getting this project done for Easter so I’m going to pour some extra time into it.

Hockey tonight!
