… at least I was able to do it all last night. I finished stitching my block together with just enough time to brush my teeth, brush my hair, and make it out to Cranberry Hall for the first Cranberry Hall Presents show of the season. With one exception all the other Board members were there so it probably would have been noted had I not shown up. Everyone was very friendly so I don’t think there are any hard feelings concerning my dissension; why would there be I was out-voted!

Sunday is Block Day for me. The Splendid Sampler 2 folks took a week off and I had great plans to make not one, but two blocks from Splendid Sampler version 1. But first I had some cards that needed to be done. With birthdays so close to the beginning of September I had five that needed to be finished and in the mail by early next week. So that’s what I’ve been doing all day.

I have two cards quilted and waiting for binding to be hand stitched; I have two cards quilted and waiting for the binding to be attached, and one card still waiting for the quilting and binding. I hope to have them all ready for hand stitching before I stop for supper.
