What now?

Here it is only the middle of the afternoon and all my “have-to’s” are done. What will I do now?

First thing this morning I finished up a card and got it ready for the mail. I already had a deposit ready for Cran Hall but the bank wasn’t open yet so I sorted the recycling and loaded it into my car. Then I loaded the cans and bottles so I could drop them at the bottle depot. And then I headed out to run all those errands.

The post office was empty so it was a quick trip. Apparently today was “Cheque Day” and I knew I was in trouble when I couldn’t find a parking spot at the bank. I seldom use my “Commercial Account” card but it was worth it today – one teller specifically for commercial accounts. I’ve been told about it many times but the line ups weren’t that long and I could easily wait my turn in the regular line but it was nice to get in and out quickly today. The recycle depot has some new rules and I had to ask a lot of questions, only to bring home several of the items I hoped to recycle. The bottle depot was a fast drop-off; I made just under $4 for my troubles.

The rest of my day has been spent getting ready for the Cranberry Board meeting tomorrow. Since we are having the meeting before the actual end of the month I’ll have to update all the financial information before I send out the minutes from the meeting. That’s a good excuse not to get everything out right away, plus Pat and I hope to head to Texada on Friday morning and we’re not coming back for a week.

So what will I do with the rest of the afternoon and evening? I think I’ll do some cleaning, maybe go out and cut the grass or do some weeding. Tonight I’ll either crochet or do some English paper piecing. So nice to have time of my own!
