This card is for Dylan B (Burton), as opposed to Dylan A (Atkinson).

I love Dresden plates and will make them any chance I get. The method used for this card is the one I used for the projects I made in France. I didn’t want to spend time going around the small circles with an appliqué stitch so I stitched beads into the centres.

It’s a simple card and a simple wish for Michelle – that she enjoy her birthday.

I used one of my fancy stitches down the centre cross with a bit of meandering on the rest of the card.

I’ve been making a lot of flying geese of late. My Wild Goose Wednesday project calls for eight flying geese each week; the fact that I made them the wrong size for the first two weeks didn’t help with the volume.

None of those geese though are as small as these ones that finished at 1″ x 2″.
