One Tuesday when I was sewing with the Guild I was feeling particularly unmotivated. My friend, Donna Sand, showed me this pattern and I was immediately inspired.

I had several 2.5″ strips so it is totally scrappy; I even used scraps of different white fabrics that I had. I didn’t have fabric for the borders but when we were in Victoria I purchased fabric for another project and just “borrowed” a few strips to finish this off.

I fully intended to quilt it myself but when the Guild were planning a sandwiching day I realized it would be done a lot faster if I had them sandwich it. It is possible that some other member might take it home to quilt (and I’ve no doubt it will be done better than I would have done).
