It was interesting to read about the different healing methods available in the frontier during the 1820’s. The “doctor” believes mainly in bloodletting while the Winter sisters take a more natural approach.

I enjoyed the first part of the book but the ending didn’t work for me – if, in fact, you can call the end of the book an ending.
