Again, being short of time, I pulled another project to send as Madison’s card. She is in a much larger space this year and I hope she can find a place for it. According to Canada Post this gift should make it on time for her birthday.

This is the first year I’ve sent Asher’s card anywhere other than “home”. I had no idea how long it would take to get to Edmonton and, with the Easter holidays, I’m afraid his card will also be late.
Because I was so short on time for card making I pulled one of my small projects off my display. I’m sure in his new apartment there will be room for it somewhere.
Elizabeth asked me if I had any Frozen fabric left from the quilt I made for Taylor. She looks after a friend’s daughter from time to time and Oceana loves Frozen. I dug into my stash and found a few fabrics; next I had to find a pattern that would be simple to make and that would suit the pieces of fabric I found.
As I had larger quantities of some of the fabrics I thought I might manage a 3-Yard quilt. Although I didn’t have enough fabric to make the quilt as large as the pattern, it turned out to be a nice size for a little girl.
I’m not sure why I had the Olaf fabric but there was more than enough to cover the back.

It is only fitting that I’m late posting Gavin’s card. As I write this his card is also late getting to him.
It seldom works this way when I’m doing blocks from my calendar but this year it worked out just right.
