This is the third book in the Gilead series and since I’m so far in I think I’ll go ahead and read the last one. Her writing style has differed from book to book; this one was more confusing than the others but it certainly filled in the background of the Rev. Ames’ young wife.

The colours on this particular flower remind me of Autumn. Because Roberta’s birthday falls on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation orange is appropriate.
Donation Quilts 2025
I was unable to attend the Guild’s Community Quilt day but I knew I had a couple of flimsies that I had made specifically for their donation. I started going through my bins and came up with 19 flimsies waiting to be sandwiched and quilted.
I checked with my kids and grandkids and ended up with 12 that will go back into my bins for sandwiching and quilting. The remaining 7 were picked up yesterday to be sandwiched and quilted by the Guild.
