It was a toss-up as to which of my granddaughters would get this card, but Emma won out.

I’ve decided to use some of my sampler blocks as cards and Gavin is the first recipient of that new decision.

There aren’t a lot of cards suitable for kids in these blocks. Gavin is growing up so fast (12 this year) and soon kids cards won’t be an issue for any of my grandchildren.

When I was doing my cleaning/organizing I came across this block. I didn’t make it and the scrap of paper that came with it showed a different project to use it for. I thought the purple made for a nice Spring card. This is a special birthday for Dorothy.

On the day at the Tuesday bee when I was working on Michelle’s card a friend gave me some musical scraps that she had collected from someone. I used some of the scraps to put together this block for Dylan’s birthday.
