Quilting has become my latest passion. My sisters are beautiful quilters and often tried to get me interested. My reply was alway that I hated sewing so wouldn’t like quilting.

One spring my sisters took me on a quilting retreat (just the three of us) and they showed me all the beginning steps of what I needed to know. I enjoyed the craft, but immediately after we returned from the trip we started packing up our house in preparation for my retirement and our move. Needless to say there was very little crafting of any sort done.

Once I was settled into our new home in a new community I joined a Quilt Guild in order to meet some people. The ladies were all so friendly and helpful that I soon had a list of quilting projects that I wanted to complete. I many never have time to finish the projects on my list, but it doesn’t hurt to dream!
