It has been eight months since we first started self-isolating due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It has been inconvenient but I certainly don’t consider it as any sort of sacrifice.
As I listen to the radio today, on this Remembrance Day, hosts are speaking of the sacrifices made by our veterans from every war and peace-keeping mission Canada has been involved in.

So it annoys me more than a little bit when people talk about the sacrifice we are making to deal with the pandemic. If we obey the rules we are in very little danger, unlike those involved in conflicts around the world.
What do you think? Can we in any way compare ourselves to those who sacrificed so much in generations before us.
