You would think after a couple of days I’d have something positive to report, or something to show you. Well I have nothing. I can’t even say what I did on those days to waste all my time.

I know I did some yard work and somehow I managed to make a complete mess of my studio without having anything to show for it. I really thought I would get back to my machine today but that hasn’t happened; it is too hot upstairs now to spend any more time working.

We are ready for the restoration people to come in tomorrow morning. I had all of my bins moved out of the basement before Pat got back from Texada on Saturday; I helped him out a bit this morning in boxing up some of the small equipment but he is still working on taking his desk apart and clearing his electronics from the surfaces.

I’ve managed to do a bit of clean-up in my studio and I’m ready to hit the sewing machine whenever I get back to it. I have a birthday gift cut out and ready to stitch, I have two rows of my UFO ready to start stitching on (these rows were the ones that required all the templates), and I have the latest steps for my mystery quilt prepped and ready to sew.

I finished the latest clue in my Hex-Along but I’ve decided that before the project gets any larger I want to get the centre piece done. I have that all prepped and it will be my stitching project for the evening.
