I see that my posting from yesterday didn’t come through. I think it has something to do with the way I load my pictures, or perhaps the fact that I load so many pictures. I hope to redo my website and the Guild blog this summer so perhaps I can address the photo issue then. Of course summer is half over so I should get at it, but it isn’t a task I particularly look forward to.

We headed out to the movie last night to see The Lone Ranger. And remember the trouble I was having choosing a book after the Stephen King? I picked up Minding Frankie by Maeve Binchy and it was absolutely the right choice. I just dropped of the King tome at the library and picked up my next book. I don’t usually peruse the shelves but I’m glad I did today.

I made Sloppy Joe’s for lunch at the BOND session. I tried a recipe at home last week for Sloppy Joe Squares but it wasn’t very good. This morning I decided to go with the ordinary recipe and it all worked out well. There weren’t many ladies in attendance today but all the food was either eaten or taken home. I often get a sample of things for my bee lunch, but I’ll be on my own tomorrow.

I’ll have to get things packed up tonight for tomorrow’s sewing. It feels like an age since I did any sewing.
