This is a good story about the rape of a young girl (now that is an odd sentence). This is a bit different from her other novels. The surprise ending is there, but it is part graphic novel and I didn’t like that part so much. After many tries, I did manage to solve the puzzle hidden in the pictures.

It took a long time to get through the book but it was because I was busy and not because I wasn’t enjoying it. The story  has several characters and at the beginning I wondered if I would be able to keep them all straight. Even with gaps in my reading time I was able to follow the story lines without any difficulty. Do you believe in ghosts or the possibility of ghosts? Do you believe in fate? This book will keep you guessing.
