I started on a new bin of yarn (actually it is one of Mum’s wicker baskets) and this chunky yarn was the first thing out of it. It was left from a sweater I made for Christy not too long ago. I made a matching one for Taylor but I haven’t come across any leftover yarn from hers (yet).

I thought I would have enough for a hat but when I finished the first ball I was worried I wouldn’t have enough to finish the pattern. At that point it was about the right size for a neck warmer or cowl.

The second ball had a bit more in it but not enough to finish the hat pattern. I decided the cowl was fast and easy so I made another one.
